Well the Fastback Engine cover arrived – all the way from New Zealand, to the UK, then over to Dubai in my luggage!
It’s a quality item, well machined and with the Breather kit is the ideal solution to that big gaping hole at the back of the Boxer Engine.
It fits great, just need a couple of bit sawing and filing out to allow for the petrol pipe to pass over the gearbox.
First job was to sort the crankcase breather though with the neat kit that that bolts to the back of the engine. I’d ordered the pipe from Motorworks in the UK and this seems to work well.
Once I’d cut out the slots for the pipes, I painted it Matt Black with high temp paint and fitted it to the Bike.
I think you’ll agree, it looks great and finishes the Bike a treat…
